Filtersupports round filter installation is unique, because the design of the filter is based on the natural flow of air inside a cylinder (”Downstream cleaning”). Using gravity, vacuum and sorbent are removed automatically at the bottom of the filter during operation.
To make a filter operate at an optimal basis, it is necessary to have a well-defined air flow into the filter. Our engineers have developed several solutions in order to achieve the best airflow. The solutions are based on achieving the optimum flow, while ensuring an optimal mix of activated carbon, lime or bicarbonate.
This design will minimize the consumption of secondary waste as well as a decrease in operating costs.
Hot flue gas produced by thermal treatment, incineration and gasification, is cleaned by reducing the temperature of the flue gas. Filtersupport will be able to recommend different cooling solutions, which works by allowing the flue gas to pass through a heat exchanger system. This can be a wet solution using Quench equipment or a dry solution using heat exchangers. The applied principles are carried out either by using air-to-water or air-to-air heat exchanger.
